To use, drill holes in the tree stump according to package instructions and pour 4-6 ounces of pellets into each hole. Fill holes with water and let stand for 4-6 weeks. Once the tree stump is porous, you may remove the tree stump by igniting with kerosene or charcoal. It will burn down to the roots for complete removal. To remove without any burning, you may use a hatchet or axe to chop away layers of the tree stump. Bonide's Stump-Out Granules are most effective on seasoned tree stumps that have been cut for at least 18 months.
